A simple product is a basic item in store that doesn't give you different choices. It's a common type of product in stores. In Magento 2, a simple product is identified by its name. It can be sold on its own or as part of other types of products. Simple products can have different prices but need options like colour or size. Each product has a unique code called SKU (Store Keeping Unit).

Creating a simple product type in Magento 2 is easy! Here's a simplified guide:

Log in to your Magento admin panel. Then, click on Catalog > Products in the sidebar. Next, click "Add Product" at the top-right corner and choose "Simple Product" from the drop-down menu.

Enter the product name, price, and weight. Add any additional configuration details if needed. Click "Save." Then, choose the store view where you want the product to be available.

Set the tax class, stock quantity, visibility (preferably "Catalog, Search"), assign categories, set new product dates, and choose the country of manufacture.

Make sure you've filled in all the required information. Fill in sections like content, images, related products, SEO, etc.

Switch on the "Product Online" switch.

Finally, save your changes, and you're done!
